Pending Moderation Queue?

I realized that I generated a fuckton of dupes today and no one knows it until the scroll all the way down to the bottom. The worst part is that they are flagging the original older ones as dupes. :( I guess I could have posted this under the discussion on flagging, but it seems that the pending moderation post are the problem.
It would be nice if there was a second queue for post that are "pending moderation". That way those items wouldn't clog up the post that people have made an effort to display. (I feel that) People that want stuff to get voted up need to put some effort into their post. Not just because it's better looking, but because there is more credibility to the post. Links that are just thrown up there could be spam or really retarded like that "I'm looking at gay porn" link. The best part of a pending moderation queue is that you could vote on ones that are pending moderation. If they are retarded they can get quicly voted out of the queues. One thing I think that would also help would be to increase the lifespan of post in the pending moderation queue. Since that place is like the septic tank of the site, things can sit there for a while. ;) It being a second queue would make it less interesting to most people to bother clicking on it. I don't know. It just seems that recently that there has been a strong influx of post and the queue gets backed up it seems. |

Yeah, I agree. Hopefully we can figure this out.
Joeyo and I talked about this a bit when he was in town. He mentioned having a "Show unprepped items" checkbox, similiar to the "Only show items voted on". Would something like this help? I imagine there will be a few steps needed to make the queue more functional, so I'm game for trying. |

If instead of a checkbox, if we split those out into 2 queues, what would be the appropriate names for them?
"Unmoderated" and "Moderated" seem too formal for my tastes. |

I like the two queues idea. The naming I've got no idea... other than this short list of rapid fire ideas...
"liftoff", "runway", "hanger" "Clear", "Cloudy", "Dirty" "B", "O", "R" "Release", "Development", "Research" "Autonomous", "Associative", "Cognative" "Advanced", "Intermediate", "Novice" "Admiral", " Ensign", "Seaman" "General", "Colonel", "Sergeant" Out of ideas for now. :) |

I must admit, I love threeiem's queue name suggestions.. but I think I'd vote for the option to show unvoted items (and maybe also items you've submitted so you can see their %) and an option to show only prepped items.
I think the 1 queue is just easier and having the options will prevent the queue backup for people who regularly moderate the queue. Also, the extra tab would require you to go to a tag, moderate an item, then switch back to another tab to vote on that item (because once it was moderated it would go into the second queue).. Less pages == more fun |

Sounds reasonable to me. So, we're talking about about a checkbox on the queue.
We'd then have: [X] Only items ready for voting [X] Only items not voted on [X] NSFW is OK |

That sounds like the easiest solution for people to get.
