oh and this works for American Cars aswell. i had a German made Bicycle and when i got hit by a truck (F250) My bike had some minor damage, mostly the gear shifts and the petal that hit the ground was badly Warped. But the Trucks Front fender was caved in, in several area's and the grill was needing to be replaced and both of his front tires had been damaged. with some minor repairs i got my bike back on the road..his needed several thousand dollars worth of repairs...Germany says Fuck you world!

Yeah, I mean if they stay intact after a crash, most of the force would be spent on the unfixed things inside instead of just being absorbed by the crashing parts of the car.
